N-Day 13 Launches

NEWS: N-Day has officially launched and preparations are in full swing. N-Day 13 will run for 24 hours and sees several changes from its previous iteration in March this year (2025). The Faction Anime Nations Against Liberals will be defending their title as N-Day Champions.
N-Day is a site-wide event that simulates nuclear conflict, allowing
nations to join factions, build and launch nuclear weapons or deploy defensive
shields. Launched weapons inflict
radiation on targets, reducing their production rate and contributing to a
faction’s score. The faction with the
highest score at the end of the event is declared the winner.
2025 Rule Changes
N-Day 13 sees multiple changes intended to rebalance
gameplay. These include:
- Cross-faction shield penalty increased from 1.5 to 1.7.
- Radiation penalty increased from 0.5 to 0.66 per unit.
- Shields capped with a maximum power modifier of 20.
- Healing reduced from 10 to 5 radiation per use and cost increased from 600 to 700 production points, with score gained per heal increased from 5 to 10.
- Production now resets when leaving a faction.
According to the event organisers, these changes are
designed to limit faction-hopping, reduce the impact of large healing operation
and narrow the gap between larger and smaller factions.
You can read more about the rule changes in the NDay13Change Log Dispatch.
Participation and Information
Registration for factions remains open and participants can
co-ordinate via the official Vault 41 forum.
